Happy to announce that the poem I read at Fable Hollow’s poetry open mic night is going to be published in Forevermore Magazine! ( https://forevermorepress.weebly.com/ ) In June, “Garden, Haven, Light” will be yours to read. 

The theme Forevermore chose for this issue was “All My Love,” and it came with beautiful moodboards and song recommendations that helped me decide how I wanted to go about writing a poem to fit their theme. I decided I wanted to write something more metaphorical for this one, and I am pleased to say that the result was an ethereal, Hozier-esque, page-long love poem with double meanings in nearly every line. You’ll want to get out a flower meanings chart for this one!

“Garden, Haven, Light” is definitely a departure from my blunt, brutally honest poems that I have often shared, but I am happy to be given the chance to show my versatility through this piece. I’m so excited for everyone to red this one, and I hope that you will all love it as much as I do.
