Mary Stella

Mary Stella is an urban fantasy author, playwright, and poet from East Tennessee. She is currently querying literary agents to represent her debut modern-day urban fantasy novel, “The Reaper.” She has written four full-length comedy stageplays, which she also plans to publish. In her words, readers will find exposition of the universal truths of human nature. When she isn’t writing, Mary will likely be found at a local record store, or at home with a Dr. Pepper and a book.

The Reaper

The Reaper is Mary Stella’s urban fantasy novel, which she is currently seeking representation for. The main character Selena Night has the unique ability to take magic away from others, and is hunting down the few who can do the same, as ghosts of her past mistakes come up from the grave. The Reaper immerses readers in a gritty world that blends urban fantasy with elements of romance, magical realism, political intrigue, and organized crime.
